Our customer based in Bromley hired Thatcher Builders to build a wet room for their disabled child. Whilst fully accommodating their child’s needs, they also wanted it to function as a family bathroom as well.
We removed the old bath suite and all old tiles & ran all new pipe work which was hidden either in walls or under the floor. We Renewed the floor boards and installed a wet room tray. We laid a ditra mat base to the floor before tiling and laid non slip tiles to the floor. Next we tiled all walls and installed the bath suite and shower. We then Installed a special electric toilet with automatic flushing which happens 10 seconds after use.
We installed an electric mirror light and down light. Next we fitted an extractor fan and fitted hand rails and pull down hand rails.
Finally we installed a heated radiator/towel rail and then lastly painted the ceiling and woodwork.
Thank you Thatcher builders – Ray, Jamie and Joe. We are so pleased with our new bathroom.
Thatcher builders changed our bathroom into a wet room with disabled access.
We had used them previously for downstairs renovation and They were just as good this time around. They have done an excellent job to a very high standard.
Ray and his team are very easy to discuss ideas with and offer advice on all aspects of the job. We found them to be reliable, friendly, trustworthy and tidy.
We would certainly recommend them and use them again in the future.
