Our customer based in Bromley contacted us through our website to enquire about a full rear house extension at their property. We met with the client to discuss their needs and see what could be achieved. We then sent over a quote along with our proposal including new patio area.
The quote was agreed with the customer so after our architect had drawn up plans we started work.
First we opened up the back of the house and removed two internal walls, fitting three RSJ beams. Next our team rewired the ground floor and removed the old kitchen. Next Thatcher Builders installed a new fitted kitchen with island to a different area after the plumbing was moved from the old kitchen.
We built a brick featured wall, Altered the heating pipes and install three radiators. Next we made a hand built cupboard with two sliding doors (built in utility area) for the dryer and washing machine.
Next stage was to plaster board the ceilings and render walls. Our team plastered the walls and ceiling and then installed new down lights.
The next stage was to rebuild the flat roof with a fibreglass roofing system. We installed a 2mx1m electric opening window to the flat roof Installed. Next Thatcher Builders fitted 6 metre grey aluminium sliding rear doors with blinds fitted into the glass and low door threshold so there would be no step from wood flooring to the patio.
Last we renewed all upvc window and grey front door. We built rear walls with and raised patio with steps and slope. We fitted external lights and painted all walls to the external of the house.
The project was completed in 10 weeks start to finish.
